I'm a native of the sunshine state, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Graduated from Florida State University with a BFA in Studio Art in 2007. While in Art School, I focused on design, fiber arts, installation and mix media, while dabbling a little bit in photography and graphic design.
In 2007, I opened Textures, a handmade boutique in Tallahassee, Florida, where I sold my own work, along with the work of over 30 other local and national artists and designers. This is where I discovered my love for marketing, visual display and merchandising. After five years in business, I closed Textures and transitioned into a position at Lucy & Leo's Bakery where I ran all Social Media Marketing and became Lead Baker.
Freelance work has been a part of my career over the years. I have worked with many local boutiques, salons, and restaurants in Tallahassee, Florida and Thomasville, Georgia. Working with these businesses I've created social media marketing, website creation and management, graphic design work, along with custom visual and window displays. Through these jobs, I have learned the art of time management and working independently. I believe these are two of my strong suits. I am a deeply driven and extremely organized individual with a strong record of achievement that is based on a passion for excellence and high level of creative energy. I completely adore the creative process and thrive on critical feedback.
